sight is a faculty..seeing is an art

while in Goa my fascination of discovering human expressions on rocks and tree formations on the sand... continues

I go daily to the beach and new shapes and forms are there

an interesting challenge for the eye
every landscape a fertile challenge ..for interpretation
as i say farewell to Goa I hope my quest for the unexpected adventure of seeing will continue in the less exotic places i will visit in the next few weeks..cause as my new the Indian yoga teacher said... spiritual connects never grumbles ..and although i didnt take up Yoga i did continue walking in quest for the spiritual exercise of seeing

human rock .encountered at a beach in Goa

my peculiar photo journey in Goa continues.. All things depend on where and how you place your eye ..or your camera..then things just appear ...just a face
Sometimes as you wonder around you see faces not only human faces...but facial expressions in nature on rocks...
It is one way to read the world..each one has his own way
I was simply amazed by the emotion i found on this rock the mouth the expression
Some times a face can say a few things even without the eyes staring at you!?

We are all broken in some way, yet we can still all carry flowers.

Strange thing happened as i was walking down the Goa beach today.. walking and meditating!! the tide had moved back and a few crabs were trying to stay alive and get back into the water carrying their shells I helped one cover the distance by throwing him and his little house the shell back into the water i saw....
Then few steps back i saw a golden shell pretty much the same as the one a had thrown into the water It was shining i approached and saw it was a glass shell rsomething a tried to move
It was heavy slowly removing it from the sand a laughing Buddha appeared with this shell in his waist ..
I wondered who might have thrown him in the sea and why only to discover that his hands were broken I decided to take him with me and put flowers in his broken arms to cover the wounds and decorate him more.
In fact it is a laughing Buddha for saving money!! if i am not mistaken who knows why it was thrown in the water and it came from China it has Chinese letters on him!!
And then Hans said The Buddha has come to say hello to you today. The image of putting flowers in the broken arms of the Buddha reminds me that half of the spiritual path is about bringing beauty and kindness to the world, even if one's hands are broken
We are all broken in some way, yet we can still all carry flowers. The Buddha said that the path has 4 facets. In the inner subjective realms we are to see through the illusion of separateness and 'get over' our selves and the world. in the outer world we are to better ourselves and the world.

painting, carving trees on the sand.Goa Beach

My peculiar journey in Goa continues... and as Ramesh asked who did these sand paintings the answer is NATURE ....and then i saw them and shed my light on them All things depend on where and how you place your eye ..or your camera..then things just appear

water carves the trees of life on the camvas of the sand Goa beach..another venture ..to capture natures paintings of trees on sand with the help of the tide.. water carves the trees of life on the camvas of the sand.It depends which way you look at them and then suddenly or subliminaly as Raghavendra will say another perception appears
